Otto J. Shipla Award

1. Award is for an outstanding performance in Elementary student teaching, 2. Indiana State University student must have done Elementary student teaching (major field experience) in an Indiana State University program in Knox, Sullivan, or Daviess County, 3. One award is given annually for each of the three counties, 4. If Indiana State University has no Elementary student teaching program in designated county, award may be given to an outstanding student teacher in the Indiana State University program who did student teaching elsewhere, but must be a student who graduated from a high school in Knox, Sullivan, or Daviess County.
