Bobbie and Tim O'Neill Early Childhood Education Fund

Recipients must be a majoring in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education; preference to students from Marion County, IN; second preference to students from the state of IN. Recipients must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

The intent of this fund is to provide scholarship support to students majoring in early childhood education with the intent of a career in early childhood development. The donor, Bobbie O’Neill, was inspired by Dr. Jan McCarthy’s passion for early childhood education, which she encountered as one of her professors during her time at Indiana State University. Bobbie’s career centered around early childhood education, helping thousands of children receive a great start on their educational journey. This fund honors Jan’s legacy and helps provide critical support to students at Indiana State and the Early Childhood Education Center.
