Patricia Van Hook Doelling Design Studies Scholarship

The intent of this scholarship is to provide support to talented students who demonstrate creativity, artistic potential, and a commitment to pursuing a career in the design industry. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help promising designers to continue their education, develop their craft, and gain the skills needed to contribute meaningfully to the creative industry. By investing in the next generation of visual storytellers, this scholarship seeks to broaden access to design education and empower students to make a lasting impact through their work.

Recipient must be a BA, BS, or BFA in Art and Design major with a concentration in Design Studies, Graphic Design, or Digital Art; recipient must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the year of the award; recipient must submit a portfolio to the Art Department for review; not automatically renewable but recipients may reapply for subsequent awards.
