Jennifer J. Piker Memorial Scholarship in Technology
The intent of the scholarship is to provide support to students in the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology who are working while earning their degree part-time to advance their careers. In so doing, this scholarship honors the memory of Jenny Piker, who graduated magna cum laude from Indiana State after taking classes for nine years while working full-time at Eli Lilly and Company. In her 36 years with the company, Jenny championed opportunities for women to advance, just as she rose from her starting position as an employee benefits assistant to launching early IT advancements, managing health and safety departments in the Clinton laboratories, and working in logistics and supply chain at the corporate office in Indianapolis.
