Donald and Marlowe Owen Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is established by the family of Donald and Marlowe Owen to celebrate their memory and their contributions as educators at Indiana State University. Donald taught geology and Marlowe taught chemistry labs to incoming freshmen and nursing students. Both were passionate about educating students in the science disciplines.
Minimum GPA of 3.0; must attend classes on campus when in-person attendance is permitted; preference to junior or senior in year of award; preference to student majoring in Geology or Chemistry, and if no eligible students in these programs apply, may be given to student pursuing a major in general Science disciplines; must submit essay; not automatically renewable but students may reapply.
