Doug and Dale Orman Scholarship Fund

The intent of the donors is to provide support to students from Vermillion County who are attending Indiana State University and who plan to major in education, with a preference for students who graduated from South Vermillion High School. Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to an Indiana State University student who meets the following criteria:
- Recipient must be a United States citizen.
- Recipient must be a resident of Vermillion County.
- First preference shall be given to a student from South Vermillion High School.
- First preference shall be given to an incoming freshman.
- First preference shall be for a student majoring in education and who plans to pursue a career in teaching.
- Recipient must be a full-time student.
- Recipient must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or better.
- Preference shall be given to students with financial need.
- This scholarship is reserved for one recipient annually.
- This scholarship may be renewed for up to three years if the recipient remains a full-time student and maintains at least a 3.0 grade point average.
