Geraldine Rice Sherrell Endowed Nursing Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to provide support to students enrolled in the Nursing Program at ISU, and to honor Geraldine Rice Sherrell, who has rendered decades of empathetic medical professional care, and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring to hundreds of associates, family members, and foster children. She serves as an anchor of faith, dedication, and compassion.
Recipient must be a full-time student enrolled in a baccalaureate nursing program; must demonstrate financial need; must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be a junior or senior in the academic year of the award; must submit an essay. This scholarship is awarded on an annual basis and may be renewed, but applicants must re-apply.
