The IEA Women and Minorities in Construction Scholarship
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to Indiana State University students that meet the following criteria:
Must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
Must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
Must be majoring in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering with a Civil Concentration, or Civil Engineering Technology
Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded
Must be a full-time student
Applicants must complete an essay responding to the question: “How will this scholarship make a difference in your life and help you pursue a career in the construction industry?”
Students may receive the scholarship in multiple years when it is available, but they must reapply each year. Recipient will complete a written letter of appreciation to the Donor which will serve as their official acceptance of the scholarship, and recipients will be invited to meet with IEA recruiting representatives about job and internship opportunities.
