Brad Hummer Student Media Endowed Scholarship

The intent of this scholarship is to provide support to students with majors within the College of Arts and Sciences who are also actively involved in ISU Student Media. The donor was actively involved at the Statesman during his time on campus and would like to assist students with their education who are also passionate about working in student media. The recipients of this scholarship can be involved in any area of Student Media at ISU.

Recipients must have a major within the College of Arts and Sciences; must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid; must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; must dedicate an average of at least 5-10 hours a week working in the Student Media department; can be offered to a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student – freshmen will need to submit work from their high school student media; must continue to be active in Student Media for the academic year of receiving the scholarship; awarded on an annual basis and not automatically renewable, but recipients may reapply.
