Drs. Akhtar Husain and Ismat Bano Siddiqi Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to support students pursuing graduate degrees in Geography and in the Bayh College of Education. The scholarship was originally established by Ismat Bano Siddiqi in honor of her husband. Now, with the passing of Ismat, their daughters and son would like to honor the memory of their parents’ passion for education.

Recipients must be:
- Enrolled full time in a graduate program, with first preference to students with a declared major in Geography and second preference to students in the Bayh College of Education;
- GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale;
- Must demonstrate financial need.
