John Michael Danek Jr. Scholarship

This award is to be used for tuition, books and music as necessary. Eligibility criteria are as follows: 1) must be in upper one half of the graduating class at West Vigo High School, 2) must be a band member in good standing planning to continue study in the area of music (preference given to brass players). If there is no band member who plans to major in music, then the scholarship can go to a band member majoring in aviation. If no one meets these criteria, then the scholarship may be opened up to anyone in the West Vigo music department in the previous order. Then, if not, the rest of the senior class.
