Gongaware Scholarship

This scholarship is only open to new freshman. Students already attending Indiana State are not eligible.

Gongaware Scholarships are four-year renewable awards available to students majoring in insurance and risk management with the intention of pursuing a career in the financial services or insurance and risk management industry. Examples of such careers include: financial planning, sales, financial analyst, claims adjuster, underwriting, actuary, insurance broker, and insurance agent. Recipients have demonstrated high academic performance, involvement in high school and their community, and shown leadership potential.

Being selected as a Gongaware Scholar is not just about the scholarship. The $9,000 award is a funding vehicle to bring you to Indiana State University and to our esteemed Scott College of Business. Being a recipient of a Gongaware Scholarship provides automatic placement into the Networks Professional Development Program. The Networks Professional Development Program is heavily focused on both professional and personal growth through experiential learning, industry relationships, and personalized coaching.
