Chasteen Pickerl Memorial Scholarship
The Chasteen Pickerl Memorial Scholarship was established by Dorothea M. Pickerl, a 1914 alumna of Indiana State University, in memory of her father. A native of Argos, Indiana, Miss Pickerl served for 28 years as a high school teacher in Indiana, New Jersey, and California. She retired in California where she died on April 23, 1977. Pickerl Hall, one of the ISU residence halls, was dedicated in her honor in 1963.
Eligible applicants will be ISU students in good standing with the Honors College.
