A. Elwood and Juneth S. Adams Scholarship

The intent of this fund is to provide scholarship support to students enrolled in the Bayh College of Education at Indiana State University. This fund is established through a testamentary gift from Dr. A. Elwood and Juneth S. Adams as a permanent endowment.

The recipient must be enrolled in BCOE; must be majoring in Elementary Education or a specialized secondary education major; must have completed at least 60 credit hours; must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and have earned no grade below a B in their undergraduate coursework; must possess qualities common to excellence in teaching, as determined by the judgement of the Dean of BCOE based on the scholarship essay; financial need should be a secondary consideration; if awarded to a junior, the award may be renewed if the recipient continues to qualify (must reapply for subsequent award).
