Nolan Dean McMurray Aviation Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to provide support to one student annually who is pursuing their degree in the Department of Aviation Technology, Professional Aviation Flight Technology (PAFT) program, within the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology at Indiana State University. This scholarship honors the memory of the donor’s father, Nolan Dean McMurray, who shared his love for aviation with his children and grandchildren, leading generations of McMurrays to fulfilling careers as pilots.
Consideration will be given to an Indiana State University student who meets the following criteria:
- Must be majoring in Professional Aviation Flight Technology (PAFT)
- Must have completed their private pilot’s certificate
- Must in in their sophomore, junior, or senior year during the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded.
- Preference will be given to applicants who attended Indian Creek High School (Trafalgar, IN) or Franklin Community High School (Franklin, IN)
Scholarship is not automatically renewable, but prior recipients may reapply. Recipient will complete a written letter of appreciation to the Donor, which will serve as their official acceptance of the scholarship.
