Nursing Student International Travel
Recipients must be undergraduate nursing student(s), in good standing, in 200 level or above nursing coursework and pursuing international experiences, relating to the field of nursing. International experience must be pursued for course credit and wherever possible, should include international collaborations with ties to ISU, Terre Haute, or the state of Indiana. Recipients should be U.S. citizens. Recipients must be studying on campus for an undergraduate nursing degree, distance learning education students are not eligible. Recipients may only use funds for international travel related to expenses. Funds may also be used for registration fees or workshops, but not for ISU tuition or course costs. Applicants must submit a statement of intent identifying the course for which they are pursuing some academic credit; as well as their personal objectives for this experience. Statements of intent must be signed by the faculty of record for the course in which the student is requesting credit. Upon return, recipients must present their experiences at a nursing related event.
