Mary Kay Sommers Scholarship

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to an Indiana State University student who meets the following criteria:

• Recipient must be a United States Citizen
• Recipient must be a full-time student
• Recipient must be an elementary education major
• Recipient must have and maintain at least a 3.0/4.0 grade point average
• Preference shall be given to students with financial need
• Preference will be given to a student with passion for children and the profession, has a commitment to inclusiveness and demonstrates leadership by advocating for themselves, children, and the teaching profession
