PKA James A. Woodard Community Service Award

The James A. Woodard Community Service Award was created through a gift by Terry Cunningham, first president of Theta Omicron chapter in honor of James A. Woodard. Mr. Woodard, an initiate of Alpha Xi Chapter (University of Cincinnati), was a member of both the colony and the early chapter advisory boards. He was a local businessman who excelled in his profession while giving extensively of his time and talent to a variety of service organizations. Recipients are selected based on a showing of proficiency in their academic field while also living a life of service. Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 and contribute to the success of the chapter by emulating the principles which it espouses.
