Eddy and Kathy G. Cabello Annual Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to provide support to Latino/Hispanic students pursuing undergraduate degrees at Indiana State University. The donors, Kathy G. and Eddy Cabello, created an annual scholarship fund for this purpose in 2019 and wish to create an endowed fund to support students in perpetuity. At the time their annual scholarship was created, there were no private scholarship funds that directly supported students of Latino/Hispanic descent at ISU. The donors hope to provide financial support to Latino/Hispanic students following their dreams of obtaining college degrees, and inspire not only the scholarship recipients, but others in the community, to do the same.

Students must be of Latino/Hispanic descent; must be US citizen or permanent resident; preference to Indiana residents; preference to students furthest along in coursework; minimum 2.75 GPA; not automatically renewable but recipients may reapply for subsequent awards.
