Networks Scholarship

This application is for entering FRESHMAN students ONLY!

Networks Scholarships are four-year renewable awards available to students majoring in business with the intention to pursue careers in the financial services industry. Examples of such careers include: financial planning, sales, marketing, financial analysis, insurance and risk management, operations management, accounting, and information systems. Recipients have demonstrated high academic performance, involvement in high school and their community, and shown leadership potential.

Being selected as a Networks Scholar is not just about the scholarship. The $9,000 award is a funding vehicle to bring you to Indiana State. The true value can be found in the Professional Development Program, which is part of all Networks Scholars curriculum. The program is heavily focused on both professional and personal growth through experiential learning, industry relationships, and personalized coaching.   6. Upload a one-page essay entitled "My Career in Business". Essay should describe in detail your interest in a career in business.
  7. Upload an up-to-date resume that demonstrates your leadership roles and activities.
  8. Please provide the names and email addresses of two individuals who can recommend you for the Networks Scholarship. These references can be from anyone familiar with your leadership successes and accomplishments, including high school teachers, guidance counselors, or employers. Recommendations from family members will not be accepted.

    MAKE SURE to ask your reference if they can write a letter for you ahead of time and tell them that they will receive an email from us requesting it. Also tell them what the scholarship application deadline is.

    Personal references are not required, but strongly encouraged.
