Rex E. Breeden Scholarship

Recipient must be a deserving graduate of Springs Valley High School, Columbus North High School, or Columbus East High School who meet the following qualifications:

1. Graduate with a class rank in the upper one-fourth of their high school class.
2. Complete a minimum of two years of mathematics, including algebra and geometry.
3. Need for financial assistance with weight given for the greater need.
4. Recommended by their high school principal.
5. Must have been employed during their senior year in high school or during the summer prior to their senior year. Their employer must recommend them for the scholarship.
6. Must show evidence of financial need and have completed the FAFSA.

*Note: Employment shall mean any job for compensation, but will also include working on a family farm or in a family business even if actual wages are not paid.
