Dr. Belgen & Cecil Wells Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a deserving student or students enrolled at Indiana State University. Dr. Belgen Wells was a graduate of the ISU class of 1940; Mr. and Dr. Wells were married in 1940 on the ISU campus. The Wells had ties to the Home Economics program at ISU, and Dr. Wells held a long career as an educator. It was the desire of Mr. and Dr. Wells to leave a legacy for future ISU students.

Eligible applicants will be enrolled full-time and be in good academic standing. Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in the year of the award, and must be a resident of Indiana. First preference will be given to students enrolled in the Applied Health Sciences department within the College of Health and Human Services; second preference will be given to all other College of Health and Human Services majors; third preference will be given to students enrolled in the Bayh College of Education. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
