Briggs-Chinski Scholarship in Education

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to self-identified Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer Indiana State University student who meet the following criteria:

• Must be awarded to a student with a major in Education
• Preference will be given to those who have a financial need
• First preference shall be given to a self-identified LGBTQ student
• Should no LGBTQ student apply for the scholarship, second preference shall be given to a student who is a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity
• Third preference shall be given to a graduate of Huntington North High School, Huntington County, IN
  The scholarship may be renewed as long as the applicant remains eligible and continues to meet the criteria.
  *Renewable if the student remains eligible
