College of Health and Human Services Student Professional Travel Scholarship

The purpose of the College of Health and Human Services Student Professional Travel Scholarship is to support students to travel for professional development. Such travel may include, but is not limited to
•Professional conferences
•Clinical, field work, and internship experiences
•Interviews for Clinical, field work, and internship experiences
Ultimately, support is extended so that students will be more likely to graduate from their degree programs having had important experiential learning opportunities.

Students meeting the following criteria are eligible for consideration:
• Graduate or undergraduate student enrolled as a degree seeking student in CHHS
• Must be in good academic standing
• Demonstrated financial need
• Having made a case for the use of the scholarship to support travel for professional development as it relates to achieving graduation in an essay of 500 words
• Having support and recommendation of a faculty or staff member who verifies the relevance of professional travel for the student applicant
